This position provides a unique opportunity to assist our e-discovery and legal operations teams with data analytics and visualization as well as perform substantive tasks for both functions. You will have the opportunity to work with our attorneys, legal support staff, and technologists in a dynamic environment in which initiative and creativity are highly valued.

 

This role is part of our Legal team within our Corporate Affairs division.

 

What you'll do

 

  • Use existing software platforms to preserve and collect Company data.

  • Track various projects for quality control purposes and to ensure timely completion.

  • Provide periodic reporting on e-discovery and legal operations performance statistics.

  • Work across functional teams to define and develop analytics and reporting requirements.

  • Create dashboards using data expressions & visualizations which are aligned to strategic goals and operational initiatives.

  • Define and implement data querying expressions and techniques.

  • Manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources (internal and external) using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques.

  • Custom report building, including the ability to identify the location of data points from various applications and produce meaningful reports.

  • Assist Legal Department personnel with use of visualization tools and software platforms.

 

All you'll need for success

 

Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Design, Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience designing and developing visualization solutions using PowerBI, Tableau, or equivalent enterprise data visualization software
  • Advanced Excel skills

 

Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Experience using Service Now as a project management platform
  • Power Automate, Low Code – No Code programming
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Vision) experience and strong understanding of data relationships
  • Working knowledge of large data manipulation and data mining

 

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Ability to create and edit complex Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Exceptional problem solving technical and data analysis skills
  • Demonstrated judgment, personal integrity, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communications (written and oral), interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a track record as a problem solver and an effective team player
  • Proven ability to build and facilitate relationships at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Ability to consult with peers and management and collaborate on the best solution to be implemented
  • Strong organization, time management and task prioritization skills
  • Outstanding communications skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration
