Associate BI Analyst

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Junior BI Analyst to join our team and support our

data-driven decision-making processes. The ideal candidate has foundational analytical and technical skills, good communication abilities, and experience or coursework in BI tools and methodologies. The Junior BI Analyst will work with business partners across the organization to understand their needs and build out dashboards/scorecards using tools like Tableau to provide insights for better decisions and self-serve for smarter operation.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of BI dashboards and reports to support decision-making and operational needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them to technical specifications under supervision.
• Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decisions.
• Support the communication of insights and findings to stakeholders, assist in the creation of clear and compelling presentations.
• Assist in prioritizing multiple projects while still achieving deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with BI solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation including requirements, design, user manuals, KPIs, data processes, and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Be a self-starter that can deliver solutions and unique analysis with guidance.
• 0-2 years of experience in Business Intelligence.
• Familiarity with modern analytics tools such as Tableau, or similar tools.
• Basic proficiency in scripting with SQL, for data querying.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies, applications and solutions.
• Collaborative mindset with ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Structured way of thinking with attention to detail.
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
• Ability to support business partners with guidance.
• Hands-on experience or coursework in a collaborative version control system is a plus.

Nice to have:

● BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.

● Exposure to the modern Data Stack (dbt, airflow, data catalog).

● Knowledge of Snowflake.

● Experience in Python or R.
