We are currently searching for a Data Analyst nearshore:

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data and generate actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Enhance and validate dashboards, ensuring alignment with business KPIs.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications for dashboard/report development.
  • Validate wireframes and Power BI dashboards, ensuring all KPIs and requirements are accurately represented.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify and document analytical needs.
  • Act as a liaison between Power BI developers and business teams, ensuring smooth delivery.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across supply chain reporting systems.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting support.
  • Participate in requirement workshops, sprint meetings, and backlog grooming sessions.
  • Attend Scrum calls to report on data requirements, progress updates, and blockers.

Requirements:

  • Experience in data analysis, preferably in cloud-based environments.
  • Strong knowledge of business/data requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and Power BI (preferred).
  • Hands-on SQL experience and understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Additional Technical Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain modular Python code.
  • Design and implement APIs to integrate and propagate data across systems.
  • Review GitHub pull requests, ensuring quality via testing and documentation.
  • Build observable systems with proper logging and monitoring.
  • Write unit tests using Pytest, and work with FastAPI and Celery.
  • Understand asynchronous patterns (asyncio, threading, multiprocessing).
  • Basic understanding of networking, DNS, HTTP requests, subnetting.
  • Experience with Docker and Linux.
  • Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, OCI).
  • Exposure to RESTful APIs and Terraform or IaC tools.

Bonus Skills:

  • Knowledge of Go or Rust, CDN architectures, adaptive bitrate streaming.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, fault-tolerant systems, and API orchestration.
  • Understanding of type annotations, immutability/mutability, concurrency, scoping.
  • Experience with metrics pipelines, ETL processes, and multi-CDN environments.


Languages

  • Advanced Oral English.
  • Native Spanish.
