The Clinical Data Analyst position manages data acquisition from various databases and performs sophisticated data analysis for customers including physicians, medical staff departments, hospital departments, third party payors and contractors, and regulatory agencies.

Job Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare or 5 years commensurate experience and prior experience with health information system preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in Excel and Microsoft Access database design, querying and reporting, implementation and maintenance
  • Familiar with regulatory agency regulations (i.e. TJC, State of Ohio).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Above average organizational skills and ability to function with minimal supervision.
  • Ability and willingness to work under tight schedule requirements and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Readily accepts change and can influence people and organizational climate.
  • Proficient in PC environment (Windows, Excel,  Microsoft Access)
  • Basic project management skills with proven success at managing projects.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated success with change management, risk management, project planning and team management..
