Summary:
Xponential Fitness is seeking a technically adept and business-savvy Senior BI Developer to help advance enterprise-wide decision-making through dashboard/reporting solutions delivery, and self-service capabilities. This hands-on developer role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable dashboards and data models while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. This individual contributor role operates within the centralized BI function under a hub-and-spoke model, supporting business teams across the organization while ensuring alignment to shared data standards, tools, and practices.
Responsibilities:
Enterprise Dashboard Development & Reporting Delivery
- Design, build, and maintain high visibility dashboards (e.g., Power BI) and scalable data models to support enterprise KPIs and executive decision-making.
- Optimize performance and usability by applying best practices in DAX, SQL, and data modeling; troubleshoot and enhance existing reports for speed and clarity.
- Collaborate with Data Analytics and Engineering teams to transform and model data via modern data pipeline tooling such as dbt and Snowflake; create ETL/ ELT pipelines and reusable datasets.
- Translate business requirements into intuitive, actionable visualizations; work with stakeholders to iterate, improve adoption, and ensure alignment with strategic goals. Document data logic, metric definitions, and dashboard functionality for both technical and business audiences.
- Champion modern, AI-enhanced reporting solutions, including Microsoft Fabric and emerging intelligent analytics tools.
Embedded BI Support & Governance
- Implement BI best practices, including data validation, report lifecycle management, and data dictionary.
- Support onboarding, documentation, and enablement materials to drive self-service and report adoption across enterprise.
- Contribute to a centralized report catalog and manage version control and change management for BI assets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Engage with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Field Operations, Brands, Technology, and external stakeholders to scope, design, deploy, and monitor reporting solutions.
- Participate in enterprise KPI design and refinement in partnership with Analytics
BI leadership and business stakeholders
- Contribute to shaping of a unified, integrated reporting experience to serve as single pane of glass for key business insights.
Data Modeling & AI Integration
- Collaborate with Data Engineering team to ensure high-quality, reliable datasets are modeled effectively for reporting.
- Develop reusable semantic models that support consistent metrics and scalable insights.
- Integrate data from multiple sources like centralized Snowflake environment and third-party platforms such as CRM, POS, and digital Marketing systems via APIs and webhooks.
Pay Range: $110,000 - $139,900

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Experience: 5–8 years in BI development roles with a strong track record of developing report and dashboard solutions delivery in cross-functional, enterprise environments.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, custom visuals, and performance tuning) and modern Microsoft BI stack (Fabric, Purview). Strong in SQL, familiarity with Snowflake, cloud data architectures and APIs for integrating external datasets, proficiency in transformation tools such as dbt, and working experience with large datasets in distributed compute environments.
- AI Fluency: Ability to consume model results from machine learning and AI systems and incorporate them into dashboards (modern AI in BI).
- Collaboration and Enablement: Comfortable operating in a hub-and-spoke model, enabling alignment across embedded business intelligent teams. Experienced in collaborating with Data Analyst; ability to develop dashboards/reports without owning upstream data requirement definitions.
- Communication and Storytelling: Skilled in executive-level narrative building, written summaries, and strong at translating data into actionable insight.
- Preferred Qualification: Experience incorporating AI/ML model outcomes into Power BI reports, including use cases such as churn prediction, customer segmentation, and forecasting models. Exposure to Azure Data Lake and Microsoft’s intelligent data platform components. Knowledge of BI Center of Excellence (CoE) and reporting governance frameworks. Experience working in multi-brand, multi-tenant reporting environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related fields.
