The Challenge

Employment Hero’s mission is to make employment easier and more valuable for everyone. You’ll have 48 hours to create an AI-powered solution that reimagines any part of the work experience.

That’s it. No limits. No prescribed path. Just your creativity, speed and execution.

You could…

• Reinvent the employee onboarding experience with a virtual agent?
• Build a chatbot that writes job ads and removes bias?
• Create an AI model that boosts productivity or detects burnout signals?

Who Should Apply?

We welcome anyone to particulate, no matter your professional background or expertise. As long as you have an interest in tech and passion for AI, we want you to show us what you’ve got.

• For Tech professionals, you may be an AI/ML Engineer, Data Scientist, Analyst, or a Product Manager.
• Perhaps you're an entrepreneur with bold commercial ideas, or an Innovator who thinks big, moves fast, and isn't afraid to break things.
• Maybe you’re someone who’s simply excited by the opportunity to join an AI-first, high-performance, remote-first company, because you enjoy solving problems, automating manual processes, and re-inventing the status quo.

The Hackathon is open to participants based in the APAC region (Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia). We hope to launch Hackathon's in the northern hemisphere in future.
