The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics life-cycle in order to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.
Data Science applies base, scientific methodologies from various disciplines, techniques and tools that extracts knowledge and insight from data to solve complex business problems on large data sets, integrating multiple systems.
This role specially supports data science efforts in Pharma Supply Chain (PSS) Transportation, DC Operations, and Inventory Management area. This role will focus on leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and optimization techniques to solve complex challenges related to operations management, inventory optimization, logistics efficiency and risk mitigation. Our goal is to uncover insights and drive meaningful deliverables to improve decision making and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Listen to clients and ask questions to clearly define business problems.
- Perform exploratory analysis to determine root causes of problems and confirm/disprove hypotheses.
- Develop ML/ AI products. Summarize the financial and operational impact of the recommendation and pros/cons of alternatives considered.
- Work with other data scientists in the team to publish solutions in production. Perform ML Ops related work.
- Maintain existing solutions and provide Run support if needed
Qualifications
- 4-8 years of experience in Data Science, ML Ops, Data Analytics, preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, or related field preferred
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in business case discovery, value estimation and realization, preferred
- Experience with supply chain analytics, preferred

Anticipated salary range: $93,500 - $133,600
