To keep ING safe and secure, ING has strong capabilities to identify and mitigate risks. Across risk areas (such as fraud, data protection and anti-money laundering) and across ING locations ING has identified and registered many, many risks. As data analyst you will review this total set of risks and coordinate actions to eliminate obsolete and duplicated risks as well as improve data quality for the relevant risks. This will improve ING’s ability to mitigate risk as well as report in risk levels.
This assignment allows you to learn from ING’s best risk management experts. It will also give you the opportunity to work with people from over 40 different countries and thus gain cross-cultural collaboration experience. Your analytical and communication skill will be strengthened by this assignment.
You will be based in Amsterdam and are expected to work 32-36 hours per week.
The team
You will be part risk assessment improvement team; 4-6 people co-located across Amsterdam and Bratislava. This teams has strong expertise in risk management, with a focus on continuous improvement and change implementation. In this team you will focus on data analysis, reporting and work with ING locations to get data improved. Your colleagues will help you in gaining a better understanding of the risk data, support you in the analysis and the initial contacts with all ING locations.
Roles and responsibilities
As data analyst you will drive the data analysis and improves on data completeness and data quality, through:
- Combining data sources and perform data analysis to gain smart insight in obsolete risks, overlapping risks and data quality omissions.
- Coordinate the data improvement action plan across all ING locations.
- Initiate / execute and global data improvement actions.
- Create reporting on improvement actions as well as improved data completeness / quality.
