About the role

• As a Standard Data Engineer, you will be involved in designing the architecture of new data systems and responsible for building scalable, robust, and high-quality infrastructure to support our global cloud-native data platform. Our tech stack includes Snowflake, Airflow, Kubernetes, Kafka, GitLab/Bitbucket, AWS, Python.

What you need to succeed

• A minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience working with Python.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• At least 2 years of experience working with AWS services such as EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift, or other cloud technologies.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with relational SQL or NoSQL databases.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in business logic processes, data warehouse modeling, and insight delivery.
• Mid-to-advanced proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with deploying production-quality code and working with CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of big data tools and streaming technologies such as Airflow, Kafka, or similar.
• Ability to set up and manage ETL tools and pipelines to support project requirements.
• Understanding of data modeling techniques.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor in-house services and tools to support our global data infrastructure.  
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams, data scientists, and product managers to develop data-driven features.  
• Expand and optimize our data tech stack by evaluating and implementing new technologies to support product requirements.  
• Maintain and oversee the decommissioning of legacy systems.
