The Senior Manager / Associate Director, Distribution Strategy, will play a key role in developing and executing distribution strategies to enhance our bancassurance & brokerage channels.  This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, excellent communication capabilities & stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of the life insurance market.  The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute distribution priorities and achieve business objectives.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Assist in the creation and implementation of distribution strategies to expand and optimize bancassurance & brokerage channels, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives
  • Business Planning: Manage business plan and budgeting, performance monitoring and identify areas for business opportunities and improvements
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations on distribution performance and strategic initiatives for senior management
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the life insurance distribution landscape
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the performance of distribution channels, using data to recommend improvements and adjustments to strategies
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including but not limited to Finance, Actuarial, Product, Marketing, and Operations, to ensure cohesive strategy execution and to support partner needs
  • Partnership Management: Support the management of existing partnerships and the identification of potential new partners.  Assist in negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize distribution effectiveness

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in Business, Statistics, Quantitative Analysis or related disciplines and at least 5 years of experience in sales analysis / MIS reporting roles, preferably with Insurance and/or Banking sector
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data visualization (e.g., PowerBI) & programming language (e.g., Python)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of digital distribution trends and technologies in the insurance industry.
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Manager position.
