Full Stack Engineer

Location: OnebyZero Bangalore, India/ Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam/Bangkok, Thailand/Makati, Philippines

We are looking for a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer with 6+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in both frontend and backend development and be adept at managing projects, balancing technical execution with strategic planning. This role requires hands-on coding proficiency and the ability to lead initiatives through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

What You’ll do

• Lead the development of web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
  

• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code for both client-side and server-side applications.
  

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
  

• Design and optimize database schemas and APIs for performance and scalability.
  

• Conduct code reviews and implement unit and integration tests to maintain code quality.
  

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to ensure efficiency and security.
  

Basic Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in a Full Stack Engineer role, or similar positions.
  

• Develop and maintain both backend and frontend components of web applications.
  

• Collaborate with project and design teams to understand user needs, propose technical solutions, and ensure smooth integration.
  

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and backend services.
  

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  

• Debug, test, and optimize code to ensure high performance and scalability.
  

• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  

• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in backend development.
  

Requirements

Skills

• Frontend: Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like React, NextJS, or Vue.js.
  

• Backend: Proficient in backend languages such as Node.js, Python, and working with RESTful APIs
  

• Databases: Experience with relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
  

• DevOps: Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Git.
  

• Cloud Platforms: Familiar with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in building web applications using Next.js and React.js, with a strong understanding of server-side rendering, client-side rendering, and performance optimization.
  

• Proficiency in backend development with Node.js and Python, particularly in building RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
  

• Experience deploying and scaling web applications on AWS Cloud services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB).
  

• Strong understanding of caching strategies and tools such as Redis, Memcached, or similar, to enhance performance and scalability.
  

• Experience with AWS storage solutions such as S3, EFS, and RDS, including knowledge of when and how to use different storage options.
  

• Familiarity with building microservices architectures and event-driven systems to support highly scalable, distributed solutions.
  

• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS) for efficient deployment and scaling.
  

• Strong understanding of security best practices in web development, including secure API design, authentication, and data encryption.
  

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing, especially in cloud-native environments.
