Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • Experience with the domain area of Generative AI or Large Language Models.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, business finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 1 year of experience in technical leadership.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

In this role, you will lead Kaggle's efforts to take its AI community to new heights and help establish Google as a leading company in the third-party AI ecosystem. Your goal will be to accelerate growth in monthly engaged users (MAUs) and help land Kaggle as the leading home of open evaluation in the generative AI and agentic era. You will handle significant issues and adapt to the rapidly changing AI domain and take ownership of growth projects and executing experiments efficiently. You will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering managers, technical leads, design leads, marketing leads, and other product managers and will have experience with data to set up quantitative analyses into our user data.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Execute and analyze the performance of product initiatives that 10X the impact of Kaggle’s key investment areas. AI evaluation and agents or directly drive community growth.
  • Work with cross-functional teams across Kaggle, within Google (Research, DeepMind, and Cloud), and outside companies, organizations, researchers, and industry experts and influencers.
  • Develop and secure buy-in for a product goals that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction, achieving an outcome that is greater than the sum of its parts.
  • Drive launches, maintenance, and retirement in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop an understanding of Kaggle’s community and platform, the AI ecosystem, and our goals to make skilled decisions and solve issues.
