The is role is remote and can be based in the ET and CT times zones in the US.
A Senior Analytics Engineer will be part of the Global Data Analytics Team reporting to the Director of Data Management. Serves as a critical bridge between data engineering and data analytics, ensuring that data is not only accessible and reliable but also structured in a way that empowers business users and analysts to derive insights efficiently. Building strong working relationships across IT and Business is essential. Your work will involve designing and maintaining scalable data models, architecting, and administering the AWS Account for the BI Team, and collaborating with cross-functional business teams to meet data needs.
Responsibilities
Staying proactive with data technologies and trends, the Senior Analytics Engineer will implement innovative solutions while maintaining deep technical knowledge to support current and future (Analytical) Engineering needs. In addition, on the Analytics side you will provide accurate and timely reports, identifying trends and patterns in the data, and providing current and predictive insights and recommendations for process improvement. This role will engage with cross functional business stakeholders and data engineers, ensuring that best practices are defined and followed throughout the landscape.
Engineering:
· Proven experience (5+ years) in data engineering, including building and managing data pipelines, data warehousing, and ensuring data quality and integrity.
· Expertise in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure, with hands-on experience creating efficient and effective data solutions in a developing and evolving infrastructure.
· Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
· Develop and implement data quality and data management processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
· Design and automate data workflows and processes to streamline data analysis and reporting
· Track record of success in building new analytics engineering processes preferred
· Experience deploying MDM and Data Catalog Solutions preferred
Analytics:
· Experience working with large amounts of data and extracting insights from complex datasets
· Demonstrated track record of driving impact through data-driven decision-making.
· Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, knowledge, and experience with Python, Alteryx, and Snowflake preferred
· Experience with statistical modeling and predictive analytics preferred
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
· Work closely with stakeholders from finance, IT, marketing, supply chain, commercial, and operations to understand their data needs and deliver solutions.
· Facilitate cross-functional collaborations to drive data-driven decision-making.
Data Quality & Governance:
· Implement data validation, monitoring, and governance practices to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Qualifications
· 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or another relevant field.
· MBA or MS preferred.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate in ambiguous situations.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
· Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in data engineering and technology.
· Prior experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing domains preferred.
· Strong analytical skills with a proven track record in working with large amount of data from different sources and providing meaningful insights.
· Highly motivated, self-driven, curious, and creative; ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
· Multitasking skills and ability to act with a sense of urgency and work under pressure
· Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and independently.
· Supply Chain experience preferred.
· 5-8 years overall work experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
