Purpose
IDEMIA is hiring top-tier researchers to strengthen and expand its teams.
The goal is to cover all aspects of scientific research from data collection and modeling, to implementation, and through to publication of articles or patents. Our methodologies include Bayesian approaches, machine learning, deep learning (CNN, Transformer, GAN, Diffusion, and VLM), as well as computer vision techniques for optimized still image analysis and automated video processing.
Key Missions
- Study and development of cutting-edge, innovative algorithms, including GenAI techniques
- Optimization of algorithms
- Performance measurement and analysis
- Technology watch and in-depth review of the state of the art in research
- Providing expertise to analyze field issues and excel in benchmark challenges
- Supporting operational teams in defining the best customized solutions for specific clients
- Integration into various environments, including cloud or on-premise professional servers, embedded devices, or smartphones
The scope of work will depend on the candidate’s prior experience and potential opportunities within IDEMIA.
We welcome individuals with varying levels of experience and skill sets: newcomers will benefit from tailored mentorship, while experienced professionals will find stimulating technical challenges. Our team values continuous learning and experimentation.
Profile & Other Information
- Initial significant experience in image processing, computer vision, and/or machine learning
- Strong academic background in mathematics, data analysis, C, Python, PyTorch
- Ability to handle large datasets and work in a research environment i.e., in uncharted territory
- Knowledge in biometrics or document analysis would be a plus
- Curious
- Proactive and autonomous
- Results- and solution-oriented
- Clear and persuasive communication
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Additional language skills would be appreciated
