AI Engineer

We’re looking for an AI Engineer to design, develop, and operationalize AI systems—primarily based on LLMs (Large Language Models) and Agentic AI—to enhance automation, improve productivity, and solve real-world business problems. This includes both internal tools and customer-facing applications, with a focus on scalability, performance, and integration across company systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and deploy LLM-powered systems and AI agents.
• Integrate with third-party LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic) and utilize open-source models.
• Develop knowledge bases by utilize vector embedding and vector db.
• Implement RAG, MCP, and advanced prompt engineering to personalize model behavior and improve model performance.
• Fine-tune pre-trained models on custom datasets to improve performance on specific tasks.
• Establish or implement frameworks to evaluate, test, and iterate on AI model/agent performance and ensure robustness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, analysts, and other engineers to identify high-impact use cases and gather requirements.
• Document models, methodologies, and experiments to share knowledge internally.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, LLMs, and related technologies to propose innovative solutions.

Who We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related fields.
• 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant role (AI Engineer, ML Engineer, Data Scientist, or Data Engineer), with hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI.
• Strong proficiency in Python and its key ML/Data libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).
• Hands-on experience with AI frameworks like LangChain or CrewAI and familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, etc.).
• Solid understanding of NLP fundamentals, embedding models, RAG pipelines, and fine-tuning.
• Experience deploying applications on a major cloud platform (GCP or AWS).
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data warehousing concepts (e.g., BigQuery, ClickHouse).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for translating business needs into technical solutions.

Preferred/Bonus Skills

• Experience with multi-agent frameworks, reinforcement learning, or ML Ops (e.g., cost optimization, efficient model serving).
• Deeper experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub), data observability tools, or open-source data stacks (e.g., Debezium, duckDB).
• Previously work in a fintech, marketplace, or AI-native company.
