Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic Stars Reporting and Data Analytics Specialist to join our team and drive our Star strategy with a focus on Part D Star measures. This pivotal role involves overseeing Stars-related reporting and analytics, providing operational and analytical support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and business segments. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical expertise and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that support our business goals.

Requirements

    • Oversee and prioritize data analytics tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion of reports and analysis.
    • Collaborate with various business segments to align Stars-related reporting with operational goals.
    • Effectively communicate with senior leadership and clients to deliver actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.
    • Oversee issue resolution related to Stars reporting, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Analysis & Reporting:
    • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that can drive improvements for the business and clients.
    • Transform raw data into easy-to-read and actionable data sets, which will be used across multiple dashboards and projects.
    • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and QA processes for Stars reporting products.
  • Process Improvement & Automation:
    • Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes and tools, focusing on automation and improving efficiency.
    • Implement best practices for data management and reporting, ensuring continuous improvements in the quality and timeliness of reports.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of relevant work experience in analytics, data science, statistics, or a related field.
    • 2+ years of experience in Medicare, managed care, PBM, or health plan industries.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Advanced proficiency with Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
    • Proven knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization software.
    • Deep understanding of advanced analytics tools and languages to analyze large data sets.
    • Experience managing multiple projects with changing priorities and minimal direction.
    • Experience with statistical models and predictive analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Client-Facing Experience:
    • Previous experience in a client-facing role.
  • Medicare Part D Experience:
    • Experience working with the Part D Medicare Star Rating Program.
  • Innovative Mindset:
    • Ability to bring an innovative mindset to enhance the Stars reporting product.
  • Programming Skills:
    • Basic understanding of programming languages, such as SQL.
