Purpose


Contributes to the overall success of International Private Banking (IPB) Sales Management department by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted comply with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. The incumbent will be expected to act as IPB Offshore’s subject matter expert, a market within International Wealth Management, providing information and perspectives unique to International Private Banking to internal business partners, supporting and championing regulatory changes within the business line.

 

What you will be doing:

 

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve current reporting regarding the International Private Banking Toronto business
  • Prepares and maintains ongoing loan and deposit portfolio volume monitoring report. 
  • Collaborates with Business partners, business lines to optimize reporting quality and timeliness
  • Contributes to projects that execute mass data cleanse activities involving manual data entry and batch data entry.
  • Design, build and test dashboards
  • Develop reports in Power BI. Develop visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards.
  • Collaborate with team members to build Analysis Services reporting models.
  • Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
  • Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.
  • Relationship management with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all data processes meet business needs
  • Collaborate with development team to map and integrate data sources in existing data models.
  • Able to query and process ‘big data’, provide reports, summarize and visualize data
  • Understanding of how to leverage tools and methods to provide solutions to questions from the business
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct 

 

Do you have the skills to enable you to be successful in this role? We would love to work with you if you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Fluent in Spanish is an asset
  • 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or business process improvement, with a strong track record of working within data management frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Power BI: Expert-level knowledge of Power BI
  • Experience with Python & SQL for data manipulation and automation
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and experience in data collection, cleansing, and transformation.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
