Our Team
We are a welcoming, collaborative group of engineers building a world-class platform to address identity fraud globally. We value the unique perspectives and strengths each person brings. We actively encourage applicants from all backgrounds, identities, and abilities, and we are committed to maintaining a workplace where everyone can thrive.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) who is enthusiastic about cloud infrastructure, automation, and reliability. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our cloud deployments are secure, scalable, and resilient. You will work with AWS Cloud, infrastructure automation, and system reliability practices. Experience with cross-account AWS management, Databricks infrastructure, Terraform, and network configuration is valuable, but we welcome applicants who demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage AWS Cloud infrastructure utilizing automation tools and best practices. Manage core AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Support cross-account access and resource management in AWS, focusing on roles and permissions.
- Set up and maintain Databricks infrastructure, including workspace creation, user management, and scaling.
- Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform for repeatable, version-controlled environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot VPN tunnels, networking rules, and private connections between cloud and on-premises setups.
- Monitor system health and performance with tools like CloudWatch and connect with alerting and monitoring systems.
- Automate release processes, implement CI/CD pipelines, and support the rollout of infrastructure or new features.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and system performance tuning. Collaborate with application developers, data engineers, and security teams to support production deployments.
Requirements
- Professional experience in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, with hands-on exposure to AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch) or a strong willingness to develop these skills.
- Familiarity with cross-account AWS environments, including resource sharing and IAM roles, is a plus.
- Experience with Databricks management, Terraform, or similar IaC tools is helpful, though a desire to grow in these areas is equally valued.
- Basic knowledge of VPN setup, cloud networking, routing, and security groups, or eagerness to learn these concepts.
- Proficiency or interest in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and tooling.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI), monitoring/logging, and alerting tools is an asset.
Preferred (Not Required) Qualifications
- AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect Associate) or equivalent experience.
- Experience with multi-account, multi-region AWS environments.
- Exposure to compliance-driven environments (such as HIPAA, SOC2, ISO) is welcome.
- Background with DataOps, Spark, or ML pipelines in Databricks is a plus.
Work Model
- Our team is distributed across India, Georgia, Mexico, and Hawaii (USA). To collaborate effectively, we ask candidates to be available between 2:30 PM and 12:30 AM IST. We strive to support work-life balance for all team members.
