Job Summary:

The Senior AI Product Manager plays a leadership role in driving healthcare innovation at our integrated health system. In this director-level capacity, you will define and execute the roadmap for AI-driven healthcare products, aligning advanced analytics and machine learning solutions with clinical and operational goals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams – including clinicians, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders – to translate cutting-edge AI technologies into real-world improvements in patient care and efficiency. As a senior leader, you will champion a product strategy that delivers measurable outcomes, manages the end-to-end AI product lifecycle from concept through deployment, and fosters a culture of agile, data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role is instrumental in ensuring our AI initiatives not only leverage the latest technological advances but also truly make a difference in outcomes for patients and providers.

Job Duties:

  • Defines a compelling product vision and AI strategy aligned with the organization’s mission and goals.
  • Leads the full lifecycle of AI product development from ideation and prototyping to validation, deployment, and scaling.
  • Conducts buy-build-partner analyses to determine whether to develop internally, source externally, or form partnerships.
  • Coordinates across multidisciplinary teams to bring AI solutions to life.
  • Ensures AI products are validated in real clinical settings and ready for front-line use.
  • Collaborates closely with UX/UI teams to ensure solutions are intuitive and user-centered.
  • Drives continuous product iteration based on analytics, stakeholder feedback, and emerging needs.
  • Tracks product performance through KPIs and usage analytics to guide ongoing optimization.
  • Monitors competitive landscape and market trends to inform product roadmap and innovation strategy.
  • Works with legal, compliance, and regulatory experts to ensure responsible and ethical AI use.

Position Details:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD in a relevant discipline.
  • Direct experience managing AI products in a healthcare context.
  • Deeper knowledge of machine learning tools and data engineering.
  • Experience in a matrixed or innovation-focused organization.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CSM/CSPO, or certificates in AI/ML product management.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree-Related Field of Study (Required), Doctoral Degree-Related Field of Study (Preferred)

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years-Related work experience (Required)

Skills:

Agile development methodologies and tools, AI Concepts, Analytical Skills, Communication, Healthcare Environments, Machine Learning, Vendor Evaluations
