Role Overview

As our AI Engineer, you will design, build, and deliver complete, production-ready AI solutions from framing the business problem and preparing data to coding, testing, and deploying a working application. While the focus is on AI/LLM capabilities, you’ll draw on solid software-engineering skills to stand up whatever a project needs: a light front-end, a database, cloud resources, CI/CD, or release processes. You’ll also act as a technical catalyst, helping teammates adopt these capabilities in their day-to-day work.

Key Responsibilities

LLM & Chatbot Development

• Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) or comparable architectures for an internal support assistant.
• Evaluate and integrate LLM APIs (E.g., OpenAI, Claude) and support vector/embedding services.

Machine-Learning Solutions

• Develop and tune models for anomaly detection, forecasting, or classification to enhance operational efficiency.
• Run A/B tests and other experiments to validate model performance against business metrics.

End-to-End Software Delivery

• Translate AI prototypes into functional products, including any necessary back-end services, lightweight front-end interfaces, and data stores.
• Implement testing, CI/CD pipelines, and release practices to ensure reliable production rollout.

AI Integration & Enablement

• Collaborate with support, product, and engineering teams to embed AI into existing workflows.
• Document best practices for data prep, prompt design, and model monitoring so others can build on your work.

Qualifications

Experience

4 + years designing and shipping ML/AI solutions in production.

Technical Skills

• Python and SQL; comfort with libraries such as PyTorch, scikit-learn, Pandas/Polars.

• Experience orchestrating LLM workflows with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, or custom stacks.

• Working knowledge of vector search, prompt engineering, and model evaluation methods.

• Familiarity with modern web or API frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, React/Next.js) and basic cloud-deployment practices.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Soft Skills

Ability to explain complex ideas clearly, work autonomously, and take full ownership of deliverables.
