Currently, we are looking for a new experienced Data Manager, who combines data management expertise with outstanding project management and communication skills to translate technical details into clear actions for CROs and internal stakeholders. You will be data manager for one or more phase 1-3 clinical trials executed through CROs. You will establish and maintain robust oversight from trial start to database release, ensuring that our partners deliver clean, consistent, and regulatory-compliant clinical data on time. In addition, you will be involved in share better practice and optimizing the way we work.

The Data Management team consists of 6 experienced data managers and is characterized by an engaged and collaborative atmosphere where everyone is empowered to work independently but also support each other when needed. We are part of Biometrics and responsible for ensuring scientific validity, quality of clinical trial data, data standards and oversight of outsourced Biometrics activities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact from data management in cross-functional trial team
• Participate in the development of Request for Proposal and CRO selection
• Define, lead and provide oversight of the end-to-end data management process from trial start to database release of assigned clinical trials
• Contribute to, review and approve relevant data management documents delivered from CROs
• Chair internal data review meetings and track and communicate data metrics, risks, and mitigation actions to the cross-functional study team
• Develop and implement new ideas, focusing on efficiency gains within and across projects

Candidate profile

• At least 5 years of clinical data management experience in the pharmaceutical / biotech industry
• Experience with outsourcing and oversight of clinical trial activities
• Experience and understanding of GCPs, regulatory requirements and good data management practices
• Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple concurrent studies and deadlines
• Proactive and open-minded team-player with good communication skills

It is an advantage if you have experience with a broad range of EDC platforms and data types (e.g. EDC, Lab, eDiary), risk-based quality management, inspections and/or CDISC standards.
