We’re looking for a system administrator to provide our customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your system administrator expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning.

As a system administrator leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to modernize the network so your clients achieve their goals. You Have: 

• 3+ years of experience in embedded software or systems engineering

• Experience with NVIDIA Jetson platforms and the CUDA stack, such as JetPack, TensorRT, or DeepStream

• Experience with Linux Ubuntu, or Yocto, including CLI, init systems, and shell scripting

• Experience deploying AI/ML models, such as sensorFlow, PyTorch, or ONNX on embedded or edge systems

• Experience with C or C++, Python, and Bash

• Knowledge of Linux networking, such as iproute2, netplan, iptables, bridges, or VLANs

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience with real-time Linux and kernel configuration,PREEMPT_RT, or low-latency tuning

• Experience with STIGs, RMF, or DoD cybersecurity compliance

• Knowledge of ROS2, GStreamer, or other robotics or machine vision frameworks

• Knowledge of RF or tactical systems, including radios, or ISR payloads

• Knowledge of DevOps tools like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and artifact repositories

• Knowledge of cross-compilation, bootloaders U-Boot, and hardware bring-up

• NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI) certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
