JOB TITLE: Azure Data Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Azure Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and managing the infrastructure and tools that allow for efficient processing and analysis of large data sets. This role involves developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, managing dataflows in a Fabric medallion environment, and collaborating with business teams to automate dataflow processes that feed business intelligence tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement ETL processes for data transformation and preparation.
  • Communicate and learn business processes with the goal of automating manual work.
  • Gather and document requirements from stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across various sources.
  • Manage data warehousing solutions.
  • Implement software and methodologies for data correction, reconciliation, and quality checking.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure required.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Preferred
      • Knowledge of data warehousing solutions.
      • Data Architecture experience.
      • Microsoft Fabric familiarity.
      • PowerBI experience.
      • DevOps experience.
