Senior QA Automation Engineer (Python)

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive QA Automation Engineer who can build a testing strategy from scratch and take full ownership of the quality processes on the project (Energy domain).

About the project: It is a platform that helps energy companies make smart decisions about battery storage and energy markets. It provides real-time data, insights, and forecasts — all in clear dashboards and charts. The product is used by traders, investors, and asset managers to track performance and plan strategies.

Requirements

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in test automation;

• Strong Python skills and ability to build automation frameworks from scratch;

• Good understanding of software testing and test design;

• Able to set priorities for test cases and know what’s worth automating;

• Experience with API testing (using Rest Assured) and basic SQL;

• Familiar with CI/CD and integrating tests into pipelines;

• Understanding how REST APIs work and how systems connect;

• Upper-Intermediate English or higher;

• Able to plan and lead the testing strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain test automation frameworks;

• Write and run automated tests, mainly for APIs;

• Compare large datasets using API automated tests;

• Executing and reporting automated tests;

• Analyze the results of the automated test runs and troubleshoot tests;

• Suggest ideas to improve testing and processes;

• Work independently as well as part of a team.
