Data Engineering (Engineering) : Job Level - Executive Director

Wealth Management is on the data modernization journey, migrating the data platforms from on-prem to cloud platform on Snowflake. This involves extensive data engineering and business acumen based candidate to lead the program and work hand in hand with WM Business leadership. Morgan Stanley's Wealth Management Technology department is looking for a seasoned leader to lead a team of data engineers to drive data integration, data platform modernization and data operation initiatives for our growing data organization. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, blending deep software development expertise with team management to integrate E*TRADE and Morgan Stanley systems and applications. This is a strategic position in which this leader will play a key role in driving scalable and automated data integration strategies, streamlining data movement across systems, and ensuring high reliability, efficiency, and security of enterprise-wide data exchange processes

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $195,000 and $275,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
