Position Summary
We are seeking a Tableau BI Analyst to join our growing Revenue Operations team. This role will play a critical part in designing, building, and optimising dashboards and reporting tools that enable data-driven decision-making across the company.
You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to understand business needs, translate them into analytical solutions, and deliver intuitive Tableau dashboards. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across complex data environments and has hands-on experience with data sources such as Salesforce, Snowflake or Redshift, and Google Sheets.
This role also includes Tableau administration responsibilities and supporting our efforts to build a strong self-service data culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualisations that empower business teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and turn them into effective data solutions.
- Work with developers and data engineers to understand and align with backend architecture and data models.
- Maintain Tableau user roles, permissions, and content organisation, ensuring proper access and governance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies, bugs, and system issues related to dashboards or source systems.
- Document dashboard logic, data flows, definitions, and methodologies to ensure consistency and transparency.
- Promote and support a self-service analytics model by building user-friendly tools and training team members.
- Perform data quality assurance and validation to ensure accurate and trustworthy reports.
- Analyse dashboard usage and adoption; share learnings and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in on-call rotation to monitor BI tools and address production issues if needed.
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on experience building dashboards with Tableau (Cloud / Server / Desktop).
- Proven experience working with data from Salesforce, Snowflake and/or Redshift, and Google Sheets.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases and data warehousing best practices.
- Advanced Tableau skills including calculated fields, LOD expressions, dashboard actions, and performance optimization.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly and translate business questions into data-driven solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams across time zones and departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the AdTech industry.
- Familiarity with Tableau and Salesforce integration.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and optimising Tableau performance.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau Prep Builder for data preparation and transformation workflows
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with automation/integration tools like MuleSoft, Workato, or similar platforms.
- Tableau Data Analyst Certification.
- Understanding of basic statistical concepts or modeling techniques.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
