As a Systems Development and Data Analytics Lead, you will be responsible for the technology development and system enhancement projects for a variety of IT products in the Electronic Flight Bag for Flight Crew, ensuring the products are compliant to regulatory requirements and fit-for-purpose for QantasLink’s flying operations. Working closely with cross functional teams within QantasLink, you will be the subject matter expert in project management to ensure that deliverables are completed according to project plan. You will collaborate with expansive  stakeholders who may have conflicting priorities, drive outcomes and alignment across all stakeholders.

Reporting to the Manager Fleet Technical and Business Improvement, you will play a vital role in supporting the business unit to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives as well as support the delivery of new projects. Furthermore, you will provide operational support to Flight Crew outside of business hours.

You will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience within an IT related role.
  • Proven experience in project management and prioritise resources accordingly across the business.
  • Proficiency in software coding and experience in dealing with complex IT infrastructure.
  • Result driven with experience in influencing high performance teams working under pressure to deliver against deadlines.
  • Excellent communicator and proven ability to build constructive and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to understand and interpret issues and propose creative solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical skill and proven ability to develop and interpret metrics to identify trends.
  • Ability to influence and lead change without authority.
  • Operational experience in aviation is highly desirable.
