Are you our new Data Governance Specialist?

As a Data Governance Specialist, you will support the application of data governance standards across the organization, ensuring data is accurate, compliant, and responsibly used. Working with the Data Governance Manager, you will help embed data quality practices in daily operations and promote ownership and accountability. The role is hands-on and responsible to design and implement structured data pipelines in Databricks and deliver certified Power BI semantic datasets using Delta Lake, ADF, SQL Server, DAX, and RLS. You will also profile and validate data quality using Python (Pandas), Power BI dashboards, and Databricks governance features, helping ensure traceable, cost-efficient, and auditable data flows.

What will you do: 

• Support the implementation of the Group’s data governance standards, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with data owners and business teams to identify data issues, monitor data quality, and maintain accurate metadata and documentation
• Assist in the rollout and adoption of data governance tools and processes, including data catalogs, business glossaries, and data quality checks
• Contribute to awareness initiatives, reporting, and continuous improvement activities that promote data accountability across the organization
• Create and monitor key data quality KPIs to support consistent and auditable reporting

What we’re looking for: 

• Proven working experience of at least 3 years in data governance, data management, or related roles
• Strong technical foundation in data management, data governance principles, data quality, security and privacy and data integration
• Experience with tools and technologies such as Databricks, Delta Lake, ADF, SQL Server, Power BI (DAX, RLS), and Python (Pandas)
• Ability to interpret and apply policies and standards to day-to-day operational data processes
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a structured approach to documentation.
• Demonstrate results-oriented ability to set and deliver an action plan to achieve given goals
• Ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced environment interacting effectively with different stakeholders 
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
