About Job

A chargeback is a financial transaction reversal requested by a customer or cardholder from their credit card company or bank. It typically occurs when a customer disputes a charge on their statement, often due to issues like unauthorized purchases, product not received, or dissatisfaction with a purchase. Chargeback Specialists are responsible for investigating and resolving these disputes while ensuring compliance with card network regulations and guidelines.

As a Chargeback Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient resolution of chargeback disputes for our clients. You will be responsible for investigating and resolving chargebacks in accordance with card network regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively and effectively work disputed transactions via chargeback process to minimize revenue loss by providing representment documents.
• Effectively use all available tools, both internal and external platforms, as it relates to payment providers.
• Perform necessary research and look up transaction details that need to be included with each dispute.
• Ensure accurate and appropriate responses to disputes, resolve issues in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
• Preserve confidentiality of sensitive information

Qualifications:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
• Diploma in marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, and any related disciplines.
• 0 - 2 years’ experience in chargebacks / fraud review environment
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Basic knowledge of email security and networking

• Highly analytical and self-driven individual who can focus for long periods, work consistently paying attention to the finest details, and spending the workday using a computer platform.

• Excellent judgment; ability to ask smart questions and make quick, impactful decisions on chargebacks.
• Take initiative to research and analyze autonomously to find the most in-depth data/solution and document/communicate
