Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Power BI Developer 

In this role, we are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer with a deep understanding of the United States healthcare payor and provider business lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of healthcare datasets and experience in developing analytics solutions. This role requires the ability to understand client needs, convert them into analytics solutions by mapping data requirements, creating business logic, and owning the delivery process. Proficiency in Power  BI, SQL for building the next generation business intelligence and analytics platforms 

Responsibilities 

• Designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the business stakeholders’ needs  

• Gathering and understanding business requirements for data visualization and analysis  

• Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes  

• Creating complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis  

• Ensuring data security and compliance with best practices  

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in Power BI reports  

• Providing training and support to end users on using Power BI  

• Providing guidance on data modelling and DAX calculations  

• Collaborating with stakeholders to define data requirements  

• Troubleshooting and optimizing Power BI solutions 

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Relevant years of extensive experience in developing and optimizing complex Power BI solutions  

• Ability to architect end-to-end BI solutions, including data ingestion, storage, and presentation layers  

• Strong understanding of data modelling and data visualization concepts  

• Proficiency in SQL and data warehouse concepts  

• Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of Power BI reports and SQL queries  

• Advanced knowledge of DAX calculations and data modelling  

• Adaptability to changing business requirements  

• Ability to manage complex projects and deliver results within in stringent timelines  

 

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills 

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills   

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills   

• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team 

• Power BI certifications is a plus
