The Opportunity:

We are seeking talented and data-driven individuals to join our growing data teams in Barcelona. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to start your data career and gain experience across a variety of data departments:

  • Data Analytics

  • Data Science

  • Game Economy

The offer includes a full-time training program covering analytics, data science, and economics, including both the soft and hard skills required by these roles.

Potential Focus Areas & Key Responsibilities:

 As a Game Data Analyst / Scientist / Economist, your responsibilities will vary based on your specialization and the team's current needs. Potential areas of focus include:

  •  Player Behavior Analysis & Insights:

    • Analyze player behavior, engagement patterns, and user experience data using statistical techniques, machine learning, and exploratory data analysis.

    • Identify trends, uncover user segments, and provide actionable insights to optimize existing features and inform new game development.

    • Develop and monitor critical metrics related to player engagement, retention, and monetization.

  • Game Economy Design & Management:

    • Design, configure, monitor, and optimize the economy of game features and events, including defining pricing for purchasable items and collectibles.

    • Provide economic insights to product and game operations teams to support growth and **improve** player experience.

    • Share game economy standard methodologies and knowledge across the company.

  • Data Science & Analytical Solutions:

    • Develop and implement analytical techniques, statistical models, causal inference, or machine learning models to answer complex business questions and address exciting problems.

    • Develop simulations of player behavior to improve game design and feature development.

    • Collaborate with data engineering to implement in-game tracking and build end-to-end data pipelines.

Regardless of focus, you will be expected to:

  • Work closely with game teams to support their day-to-day data needs.

  • Share your findings with game teams and the wider Product Madness community.

  • Investigate arising in-game issues and data anomalies.

  • Communicate results clearly and effectively to varied audiences.
