The internship at our Data & Analytics department allows you to get to know our day to day way of working and gives you the opportunity to build hands-on an exciting data & analytics solution.

Requirements:

• You are Bachelor or Master student in Computer Science, Econometrics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or a related field

• You are living in the Netherlands

• Available for 5 - 6 months, as from September 2025

• Creativity and a passion for exploring the possibilities of Data Analytics, Data Science and Machine Learning

• Programming skills in languages such as Python and SQL

• Experience with with  data visualisation tooling is a plus

• Experience with software development is a plus

• You are communicative and not afraid to give your opinion.

Your role as an Data and Analytics intern

• Develop a tool which will predict the workload and expected productivity of the operational teams, taking into account factors such as scheduled activities per team. The ideal outcome is to build a solution which forecasts the expected workload at a terminal for the next shifts and days, ensuring a minimum level of safety and customer satisfaction. 

• Design the solution,  execute exploratory data analysis, fix possible data issues, define and engineer the features, train and test the model and implement the model on our platform. You will get support from our technical experts as well as the business experts. 

• Collaborate with data experts like data engineers, architects, data scientists and data product managers
