Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant in Consumer & Small Business Branch Banking Analytics. The Branch Staffing Analytics team provides data and analysis for questions involving staffing for our 4,100+ branches, changes to branch processes, equipment and format, and staffing opportunities and efficiencies.

In this role, you will:
Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence analytical strategies for highly complex business and technical needs
Lead advanced analytics initiatives to optimize branch staffing models, ensuring alignment with customer demand, operational efficiency, and strategic goals
Develop and maintain predictive models and simulation tools to forecast branch traffic, staffing needs, and service levels
Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Workforce Management, HR, Finance, and Branch Operations) to translate insights into actionable staffing strategies
Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve branch performance through data-driven insights, including customer behavior, transaction trends, and regional dynamics
Design and deliver presentations that clearly communicate complex analytical findings and strategic recommendations
Drive continuous improvement in data quality, analytical methodologies, and reporting capabilities related to branch staffing and strategies
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to a culture of analytical excellence and innovation
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in statistics, economics, or a similar quantitative field
7+ years of experience in analytics
Strong analytical skills, with experience using data and insights to inform business decisions
Proficiency in SQL, Python / R, SAS or other programming languages
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication
Previous banking experience is preferred
Previous workforce management experience
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
This position offers a hybrid work schedule
