Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experiencedĀ Tech Lead āAI Integration Services to guide our engineering team in building scalable, secure, and efficient AI/ML solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and a strategic mindset for designing and delivering production-grade AI solutions. You will work closely with data scientists, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure our AI/ML solutions meet business and regulatory needs while driving innovation and operational excellence.

What Youāll Do
Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship, fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement
Architect and implement cloud-native AI/ML solutions using GCP services such as Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataproc, GKE, and Cloud Composer, among others
Define and promote best practices in MLOps, DevOps, continuous integration/continuous deployment (or development) (CI/CD), infrastructure as code, and model governance
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies in LLM Ops, feature stores, prompt engineering, and observability
Establish and enforce engineering standards for code quality, testing, deployment, and monitoring
Drive continuous improvement in development processes
How Youāll Lead
Lead a cross-functional team of engineers in the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML infrastructure and applications on GCP
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business and compliance requirements into scalable technical solutions
Proven experience in leading technical teams, with a track record of delivering complex AI/ML projects at scale
Skills Youāll Need
Bachelorās degree or equivalent required
Extensive experience in software engineering, data engineering, or MLOps, with relevant experience in technical leadership roles
Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform, proven experience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments, including model lifecycle management, monitoring, and compliance
Solid programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala, with experience in data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Beam, Spark, Kafka)
Familiarity with ML monitoring, drift detection, feature store integration, and model observability
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure
Strong experience with data architecture principles, including data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, and data management
Ability to inspire and motivate team members, promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and constant desire to improve and innovate
Expectations
It is the Bankās expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bankās hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidateās skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
