About the Role


We are looking for a ResearcherĀ to join our Network IntelligenceĀ team in Norway.Ā 


The Network Intelligence team is responsible for designing, developing, and operating the CUJO AI Agent fleet for network and application quality analysis. The team has built the IETF QoO Framework, which will in the next few years see tens of millions of deployments.Ā 


In This Role, You Will:Ā 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement features.Ā 
  • Design and run experiments to measure the viability and efficacy of new ways of measuring, analysing or optimizing network performance.Ā 
  • Write research reportsĀ explaining the methods and results of your experiments.Ā 
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices.Ā 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.Ā 
  • Take ownership of the work delivered, adopt ā€œYou build it, you run itā€ mentality.Ā 

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:Ā 

  • Experience with programming languages such as C, Python, or TypeScript.Ā 
  • Experience in working with databases.Ā 
  • Experience in working with AWS Stack.Ā 
  • Experience in independent research-type work.Ā 
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) for effective communication with our international team.


What Will Make You Stand Out:Ā 

  • Experience doing research.
  • Proof that you can understand complex technologies and solve hard problems.
  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, …).Ā 
  • Experience with tools such as Git and Docker.Ā 
  • Experience with IaaC tools (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, …).
  • Experience building observability into systems, performance optimization and advanced troubleshooting.Ā 
  • Passion for secure software development and engineering.Ā 
  • Experience operating large-scale systems with high data volumes.Ā 
  • Experience with serverless architecture and development.Ā 
  • Experience working with multinational teams across different physical sites.Ā
