At Komodo Health, we believe that artificial intelligence is at the heart of how we will continue to address our mission. The Komodo Platform powers both internal and partner development on our Healthcare Map foundation. We’re looking for a visionary Senior Product Manager, AI Platform to lead the development of platform AI capabilities, empowering every Komodo team, as well as our external partners, to seamlessly integrate AI into their products and accelerate the creation of AI-native applications. You'll work at the intersection of product, engineering, and data science, building the tools and services that democratize AI creation.

Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo, you will have…

  • Defined and executed the product strategy for Komodo's internal AI platform, ensuring it meets the diverse needs of all consuming teams and aligns with company-wide initiatives.
  • Created a 6-12 month roadmap with outcome-oriented milestones and metrics, and reported on those metrics on a regular cadence
  • Driven the development of tools and frameworks that simplify AI integration, allowing both internal and external teams to easily leverage machine learning models, natural language processing, and other AI capabilities.
  • Accelerated the development of AI-native applications by providing intuitive SDKs, APIs, and MLOps tools that streamline the entire AI lifecycle for all users.
  • Championed the creation of an "agent factory," enabling anyone within Komodo or our partner ecosystem to design, build, and deploy AI agents for various tasks and workflows.
  • Established and maintained controls and governance for AI development, ensuring responsible, ethical, and compliant AI practices.
  • Established an operating rhythm around internal and customer feedback, translating needs into clear product specifications
  • Engaged throughout the AI stack, from foundational infrastructure and data pipelines to model deployment and application-level integration, ensuring a cohesive and performant end-to-end experience. 
  • Evangelized the platform's capabilities and provided guidance and support to internal and external teams.
  • Served as an SME on the product team for trends AI technology and customer usage, sharing knowledge across our organizatio
    • Previous experience in SaaS product management, with a strong focus on AI/ML infrastructure/platforms/developer tools. 
    • Deep understanding of the AI/ML landscape and trends, including various model types, training methodologies, deployment strategies, and MLOps principles.
    • Proven experience building products that empower developers to be more efficient and productive
    • Familiarity with ethical AI considerations in regulated industries, such as healthcare.

    • You are expected to be a power user and an advocate for leveraging AI in your daily work, constantly exploring and applying AI tools to enhance your productivity and the quality of your output.

    Nice to have:

    • Experience building products for life sciences/healthcare

The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of annual base pay that we reasonably expect to pay for this position within the US. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.

 

The starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company’s sole discretion and in accordance with a written agreement or plan. This role may also be eligible for equity awards. In addition, this role is eligible for benefits including, but not limited to, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; flexible time off and holidays; 401(k) with company match; disability insurance and life insurance; and leaves of absence in accordance with applicable state and local laws and regulations and company policy. 

San Francisco Bay Area and New York City:$151,000—$205,000 USDAll Other US Locations: $132,000—$178,000 USD

Where You’ll Work

Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
