Remote based role based in the US. Candidates must be physically located within the US.

Job Description

The Senior BI Consultant is responsible for owning the end-to-end delivery of BI solutions across multiple NIQ data sources, such as RMS, CPS, and Omni/ECommerce. This role leads projects to autonomously design, develop and deliver best-in-class reporting solutions and data-driven presentations, and plays a critical role in business development, focused on request for proposal (RFP) response. By continuously monitoring industry trends, refining sales materials, and enhancing lead-generation strategies, the Senior BI Consultant contributes to BI’s transformation into a revenue-generating function.

Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery of best in class Discover and Excel reporting solutions across NIQ platforms (RMS, CPS, Omni), including for sales demo purposes.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations that include strategic insights and telling proactive, relevant stories using data (for example, coverage stories).
  • Be a productive member and trusted resource on a cross-functional RFP response team, reporting into BI.
  • Identify and nurture insights related to new business opportunities and revenue streams.
  • Develop and implement templates to support quick-turn responses to RFPs and aid in business development.
  • Lead client consultations to optimize BI tool usage and reporting strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends and contribute to the evolution of BI offerings.
  • Mentor and guide junior BI associates and Growth Center teams.
  • Influence without direct authority and lead by example.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience working at NIQ; deep familiarity with the portfolio of NIQ products and services.
  • Knowledgeable with or willingness to learn business intelligence, data, and analytics concepts.
  • Naturally curious and strong active listening skills; asks thoughtful questions and can think on the fly.
  • Experienced in building best in class reports in NIQ Discover and Excel.
  • Consultative storytelling ability with experience building compelling PowerPoint presentations.
  • Builds and maintains strong internal and external client relationships.
  • Motivated, self-starter who operates autonomously under sometimes ambiguous conditions.
  • Desire to and skill in acting as a change agent and value creator; out of the box thinker who is accustomed to creating their own path.
  • Fosters a collaborative and inclusive team culture.

Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of $64,000 - $87,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
