Information about the positionĀ 

At Vinted, no decision—big or small—is made without solid experimental data to back it up. Experimentation team under Data Infrastructure empowers everyone across the company to make experiment-informed decisions to best serve Vinted’s current and future members. As the team’s Engineering Manager, you’ll grow, inspire, and lead the team to achieve ambitious goals with efficiency and reliability. You’ll keep the team’s vision and strategy up to date and effectively scale the vision, team, and operations as the company evolves.

In this position, you’llĀ 

Be accountable for:

  • Team results—delivery management and engineering quality.

In practice, it means:

  • Closely collaborating with the Staff Decision Scientist and Experimentation Product Manager to align and execute the Experimentation vision and strategy.
  • Defining initiatives and a roadmap focused on strategic goals and ensuring their successful delivery.
  • Developing Service Level Objectives and a support model that reflect the platform's growing importance—ensuring reliability and quick resolution of issues.
  • Communicating progress effectively and managing stakeholder expectations with transparency.
  • Identifying and addressing impediments to team efficiency to improve collaboration, delivery speed, and impact.
  • Building and nurturing a team culture of trust, accountability, and results.
  • Supporting the professional and personal development of team members to ensure high performance.
  • Ensuring the team has the right skills and capabilities to succeed.

About youĀ 

  • A confident, self-driven, and decisive problem-solver who gets things done—and done well.
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams in an Agile environment, with a track record of successful results.
  • Skilled at managing stakeholders, scope, and priorities, and delivering in motivating, incremental steps.
  • Focused on enhancing team efficiency and building high-performing, self-organized teams, while supporting people through challenges.
  • Experienced in setting growth goals and supporting team members' development.
  • Basic understanding of experimentation and data.
  • Proficient in communicating with both technical and management levels in English.
