Role Purpose

Location: Pune
Experience: 5 to 8 years
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
- 5-7 years’ experience in managing large data sets, simulation/ optimization and distributed computing tools
. - Excellent communication & presentation skills with track record of engaging with business project leads.
Role Purpose:
- Primary responsibility is to define data lifecycle, including data models and data sources for analytics platform, gathering data from business and cleaning them in order to provide ready-to-work inputs for Data Scientists
- Apply strong expertise in in automating end to end data science pipelines & big data pipelines (Collect, ingest, store , transform and optimize scale)
- The incumbent will work on the assigned projects & it's stakeholder alongside Data Scientists to understand the business challenges faced by them.
- The work involves working with large data sets, simulation/ optimization and distributed computing tools. The candidate works with the assigned business stakeholder(s) to agree scope, deliverables, process and expected outcomes from the products and services developed.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Experience working with large data sets, simulation/ optimization and distributed computing tools
- Experience in transformation data with Apache spark for Data Science activities
- Experience in working with distributed storage on cloud (AWS/GCP) or HDFS
- Experience in building data pipelines with Airflow
- Experience in ingesting data from different sources using Kafka/Sqoop/Flume/ Nifi
- Experience in solving simple to complex big data platform/framework issues
- Experience in building real time analytics system with Apache Spark, Flink & Kafka
- Experience in Scala, Python, Java & R
- Experience in working with NoSQL databases (Cassandra, Mongo DB, HBase, Redis)
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Understand the data science problems and design & schedule end to end pipelines
- For the given problem identify the right big data technologies to solve the problem in an optimized way
- Automate the data science pipelines, deploy ML algorithms and track the performance
- Build customer 360, feature store for different machine learning problems
- Build data model for machine learning feature store on high velocity, flexible schema databases
