In order to support Airbus Defence and Space we are looking for a


Working student - Operability Performance Modeling  (d/f/m)

The Aircraft Operations engineering team ensures that all future aircrafts and technologies are “Customer Positive” (i.e. airline, leasing company, MRO). This involves assessing the operability of in-service and new aircraft systems, cabins and structures on established criteria. Working with the Aircraft Operations team will give a unique learning opportunity to understand aircraft development and the practicalities of aircraft in service. As part of the activities, the cooperation with other engineering domains and Airbus customer services is key.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • In-Service Data analysis  considering variability of operations of different airlines networks

  • Analysis and consolidation of technical drivers and operational criteria

  • Operational, economic and technical parametrization of in service data 

  • Surguate model enabling the simulation of variations in operations and design parameters 

  • Use case application for a future project

  • Status and progress reporting 

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field

  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data analysis and interpretation

  • Basic knowledge or first experience in Python (preferably applied in data-related projects)

  • Understanding of economic principles

  • High level of adaptability and ability to work autonomously

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for networking and connecting people

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
