Job Description

We calculate with our models the fibre rollout strategic plan for Telekom in whole Germany. With our models and data analytics we provide transparency and strategic insight. For our model we are currently implementing an automated pipeline ensuring quick and non manual data updates and fibre rollout solutions. For the automation we need your help.

Activity description and concrete tasks:
You will exchange with the data analyst of our team and understand their processes and manual works.
Most of these works should be automated by you. Your task is to generate a concept of how to combine our
processes and automate it. This happens in close exchange with the data analyst. The final goal of your task is to
have a fully automatically model run with no or minimum manual work included.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Python for automation and data processing

• Proficiency in SQL for working with databases

• Ability to design and implement automated data pipelines based on existing analytical workflows

• Solid experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and basic automation

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with data analysts and translate manual tasks into automated solutions

• English language skills – B2 level or higher (for team communication and understanding technical documentation)
  
  Nice-to-have:

• Experience with KNIME or other visual workflow tools

• Basic knowledge of VBA (for Excel automation)

• Familiarity with Linux environments (command line, scripting)

• Basic understanding of C programming language

• Previous experience in data analytics, telecommunications, or infrastructure-related projects
