We are seeking a versatile Data Engineer/Analytics Engineer to join our team!

Our Data Warehouse team is dedicated to developing and managing our data warehousing solution, as well as creating insightful reports and visualizations for business stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft Efficient Data Pipelines: Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines that streamline processing and integration across multiple systems.
• Own and Enhance Our Data Platform: Ensure the platform is performing at its best by reaching optimal performance and scalability.
• Deliver Meaningful Insights: Use your analytical skills to turn raw data into actionable insights that inform business decisions. Utilize tools like Tableau, to create dashboards and visualizations that highlight key metrics and trends. Develop custom reports and ad hoc queries to provide business stakeholders with insights.
• Collaborate with Purpose: Work closely with business stakeholders from Finance, Risk, Banking, Markets and Operations, understand their needs, and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Ensure Data Quality: Develop and implement comprehensive data quality frameworks in the data warehouse to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data. Automate quality checks within ETL processes and address data quality issues through root cause analysis and remediation.
• Drive Cloud Migration: Be a key player in transitioning our on-premise systems to the cloud, enabling agility and future-proofing our data infrastructure.
• Data Governance: Implement best practices for data governance, ensuring everything is well-documented and aligned with compliance standards. 

Requirements

• Proficient in SQL, Python, ETL, and data modeling
• Experience with Snowflake, SAP, and financial data
• Skilled in Tableau/Power BI
• Strong communicator across teams
• 6+ years in data roles
• Degree in CS, Data Science, or similar
• Cloud migration experience
• Fluent in English; German a plus

In accordance with the collective agreement for bank employees and bankers, we guarantee remuneration that aligns with market standards and is tailored to your experience and qualifications. For this position, the yearly compensation starts at EUR 65,000. Additionally, we offer numerous benefits, including a job ticket, meal vouchers, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional development. The role is available in Vienna.
