Key Responsibilities

● Own and contribute to end-user and developer-facing content, such as quick starts, how-to guides, FAQs, and release notes.
● Test and validate API calls independently using tools like Postman or Swagger.
● Collaborate with product, engineering, and solutions teams to ensure accurate, high-impact documentation.

● Create and manage documentation using MadCap Flare, including topic-based authoring, single-sourcing, and publishing to multiple outputs.

Process Improvement & Innovation

● Analyze and enhance existing documentation workflows to improve scalability and reduce manual overhead.
● Evaluate and implement new content management and authoring tools, including MadCap Software, markdown-based systems, and documentation automation platforms.
● Leverage AI tools (e.g., GPT-based content generators, auto-summarization, editorial consistency checkers) to streamline content production and editing.
● Help build scalable documentation templates, glossaries, and component libraries.

Qualifications

Required:
● 2+ years of experience in technical writing, developer documentation, or related roles.
● Solid understanding of REST APIs, including parameters, endpoints, and JSON responses.

● Knowledge of APIs and documentation frameworks.
● Background in healthcare, health IT, or digital health preferred.
● Familiarity with HIPAA, HL7, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
● Experience contributing to developer portals, API references, or Release and Deployment Documentation.

What You’ll Learn

● Technical writing at scale across healthcare infrastructure systems.
● The role of documentation in improving developer experience and product adoption.
● How to integrate modern tools like MadCap, AI-driven content systems, and CI/CD for docs.
