Job Summary

As an Associate Data Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the management and maintenance of the organization's data infrastructure. You will work alongside other data engineers and data scientists to ensure data is processed, stored, and analyzed efficiently and accurately. You will need to be familiar with data warehousing, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and database management systems.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

• Assist with the development and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Perform data quality checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with data scientists to understand data requirements and ensure data is available in the required format.
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate data from various sources.
• Help implement and maintain data security measures.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and data governance policies.

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

• 1-3 years professional experience in a technology or business field.
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and database management systems.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, SAS, or SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
