Description

We are looking for a Senior BI Analyst to join an established team within the UKI Business Intelligence function. The role sits in the BI Reporting team, which is also supported by a wider analytics community across the UK&I division.

Reporting to the Senior BI Manager for BI Reporting, you will empower the business to self-serve, creating the data models that underpin Looker dashboards, providing self-serve support & training, and defining Looker best practice.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain Looker models to meet business requirements.
• Analyze and optimize the performance of Looker models for efficiency.
• Design and build interactive Looker dashboards to support business decision-making.
• Provide subject matter expertise and support to BI teams, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of analysis.
• Collaborate proactively with other BI teams and influence BI team’s strategy and priorities.
• Support and train junior analysts, fostering an environment of growth and learning.
• Engage in complex and high-priority projects that shape business direction.
• Liaise with stakeholders across the business to ensure BI tools and processes align with strategic goals.
• Promote the production of reusable code and modules to streamline efforts and reduce development costs.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes across the BI platform, working closely with teams and subject matter experts.

How you’ll do it:

• Strong understanding of visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Proficient in SQL with the ability to write complex queries.
• Experience in data structure and supporting teams with data issues.
• Proven track record in proactively driving strategy and change within BI.
• Strong collaboration skills, working with Head of Departments and Senior Managers to ensure BI success.
