Join Gopuff as an In-Stock Management Data Analyst, where together with our ‘In-Stock Managers’ and ‘Head of ISM’, you will drive our product forecasting, decision making and trade planning decisions on ordering, inventory management and how we balance exceptional customer experience against profitability. 
In this role, you will contribute to the rapid growth of our business by owning the forecast management for the In-Stock management function, delivering trade driving events through analysis of historical data and tackling some of our biggest operational barriers through commercial insights and data-led decision making.
You will have the opportunity to develop innovative approaches and solutions to the complex problems that we need to solve and will work alongside a talented UK Data Team and In-Stock Management Team and wider Gopuff Data Community to support your ongoing development. We recognise that people come from diverse backgrounds and skills and welcome all to apply. 

You Will:

  • Drive availability and customer experience through delivering a dynamic forecasting model for our entire product portfolio while managing wastage.
  • Design and implement trade-driving forecast events to manage seasonal and monthly changes to shopping habits, ensuring GoPuff capitalises on these.
  • Manage our specialist ordering areas with a view to simplify, automate and improve process efficiency. This role will have a small operational accountability and will support In-Stock Managers when needed.
  • In collaboration with Category and In-Stock Management teams, work on our Stock Ordering Tool and Compliance Improvements (infrastructure development and buying policies).
  • Measure and drive improvements to our Store Availability Bandwidth, ensuring all store’s offer the same great experience to customers through data.
  • In collaboration with the wider Data Team and Community, work on measuring and reporting availability levels and their influence on revenue and order volume within Gopuff.
  • Provide clear insight into the value and success of different buying policies we have built into our ordering system to ensure we are hitting the target levels of Expirations and Availability.
  • Set dynamic targets for Availability and Expirations for each Subcategory.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or other quantitative discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in analytics or data science - preferably in fields related to grocery, operations, marketing or consumer products.
  •  Strong experience in SQL and databases, with an ability to write structured and efficient queries on large data sets.
  • Proficiency with dbt, Python or R is a strong plus.
  •  Experience with Supply Chain Analytics is a strong plus.
  • Development experience with BI platforms such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI.
  • An understanding of statistical analysis and experiment design.
