With the current footprint in construction sector, Autodesk is well equipped to improve this industry. Our team ensures that company has an accurate understanding of our cloud platform usage health and ensures we can understand our customers better. We work in close sync with our executive staff due to our direct impact on Autodesk Construction Solution business improving product, business, adoption, and sales operation by applying data science.. This project will focus on using data from many sources to create a method for ongoing analysis of Autodesk’s construction customers and prospects, and general industry trends in markets around the world. This will be a remote position.

Responsibilities

You will be an important member of the analytics Data Science team, working to understand the desires of our customers, measuring the impact of product changes, and communicating this information across the company.  You will:

• Conduct analyses on vast amounts of data to guarantee an accurate understanding of the current state of our construction business..

• Apply statistical techniques to model customer behaviour and trends to identify potential opportunities for growth and improvement

• Build statistical models (both predictive and descriptive) for customer lifetime value modelling, retention modelling.

• Automate these results to ensure consistency and repeatability while expanding our ability to understand the platform

• Communicate findings to executives and teams in Product, Engineering, Design, Finance and throughout the company

• Prepare a summary presentation and report at the end of the internship.

Minimum Qualifications

• You must be enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's Program in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant fields

• You must either be in your penultimate or final year of studies, and will be graduating in 2024 or 2025

• Internship period: May – December 2024

• Proficient in Python and SQL skills.

• Experience implementing reporting programmes like Domo, Looker, Tableau, and PowerBI

• Experience in data visualisation tools

• Experience in customer analytics

• Experience in text analytics
