Experience in designing and hands-on development of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions in Azure.
Expert level understanding on Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, and Azure App Service is required.
Implement data storage and management strategies using Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, and other Azure data services.
Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to understand data requirements and implement solutions for data exploration, analysis, and visualization.
Ensure data security and compliance with data privacy regulations.
Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation activities.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and resolve data quality issues.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in Azure data engineering.

Skills

Experience in data engineering and working with Azure data services.
Strong proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure SQL Database.
Experience with data integration techniques and technologies, such as ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and data orchestration.
In-depth knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
Experience with programming languages such as Python.
Familiarity with cloud data architecture principles and best practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Knowledge of Microsoft BI Stack (SSRS/SSAS (Tabular with DAX & OLAP with MDX) SSIS) is a plus.
Azure certifications (e.g., DP-200, DP-201, DP-203) are a plus.
