The Role

At Gapstars, our goal is to fuel growth for highly ambitious tech companies with world-class tech talent. If you are an experienced and ambitious Data Engineer with strong programming fundamentals and the ability to adopt new frameworks as needed we want to hear from you. You will be expected to develop and release user-facing features and ensure the quality of our product continues to serve the needs of our tens of millions of users.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field.

● Minimum of 2-5 years’ relevant data engineering experience.

● Experience with Python, AWS, and container technologies (Docker).

● Good understanding of (non-)relational databases, and data warehousing concepts.

● Exposure to devops environments with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, TravisCI, etc.) and infrastructure as code (e.g. Cloudformation, Terraform, etc.);

● Work experience of spark and Airflow strongly preferred
