Data Analytics or Process Automation Internship #24143

Job Description:

The Aeyon Centers of Excellence (ACE) deliver data analysis and process automation expertise and solutions that exceed expectations for Aeyon and its clients. We are seeking interested students for our 10-week internship starting in June 2024. Our program consists of participation and interaction with ACE staff on projects scoped for the intern program. Interns participate in ACE project management activities as well as weekly checkpoints. The program cumulates in a capstone presentation mid-August.

We are looking for students interested in data analytics or process automation techniques (e.g., statistics, classification, regression, clustering, NLP, AI/ML, data visualization, etc.) using a variety of tools (e.g., Python, Spark, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.). The keys to success in this role include a willingness to learn, a can-do attitude, and an aptitude for solving problems.

As a member of our team, you will:

• Report to and interact extensively with ACE leadership and staff.
• Plan and execute data analysis or process automation projects utilizing a variety of skills and methods. The projects may be performed to improve internal business operations or be in support of contractual deliverables.
• Participate in ACE initiatives, meetings, and project management activities.
• Provide a capstone presentation at the completion of the internship showcasing your project

Mandatory:

Additional Requirements:

• Experience with Office 365 or Microsoft Office Suite preferred
• Ability to competently discuss the application of technology and present your learning
• Preferred: experience with MS SharePoint and coding experience

Rising Junior or Senior in College or pursuing a graduate degree in:

• math
• related field involving programming and/or quantitative data analysis.
